Drum Flow Session- May 22nd – WEDNESDAY, MB Johnson Park

On March 22nd we will be taking Drum Flow Sessions public.  Please RSVP to help with this event!

Our sessions have traditionally been on Tuesday nights. However, on May 22nd we will host our Drum Flow Session on a Wednesday evening. Red River Health is working in collaboration with several specialists in the field of Land Restoration for an event on the evening of Wednesday, May 22nd.  The event will start out with a gathering at MB Johnson Park in Moorhead at 4:30 pm. Volunteers will be introduced to the invasive species Buckthorn and learn about its impact on the native forests of our area, After an introductory tour, volunteers will be invited to help manage this species by pulling buckthorn from the forests. This will be followed up with a BBQl and our first public Drum Flow Session.

Please consider volunteering for this event. We will need support from several participants of our current sessions for this event to be a success! First we will need to transport or collection of percussion equipment to the park around 3:45. Second, we will need a volunteer to keep the equipment secure during the land management phase of the event. Finally, we will need facilitators available to introduce people to the equipment and facilitate a session.
