SUMMARY:Acorn Gather- MB Johnson Park
DESCRIPTION:We have been tending to a particular Bur Oak at MB Johnson over the past few years. We have removed buckthorn and protected germinating young saplings. This Tuesday we will be gathering at the park to collect acorns from this tree. Our hope is to use this acorns to spread the genetics of this elder oak who has sat beside the red for over 200 years.
