Great article Robert! i agree there is so much misinformation out there to decipher through! Everyone needs to get vaccinated and a booster shot. We need to get 75% or more vaccinated before this thing is over! But in the meantime, I wish everyone a safe, healthy and very, very Happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you for clarifying the possible role of Chinese herbal treatments in the Vaccine process. The question of whether or not we should continue our immune boosting regimen throughout the vaccine process was nagging at me a little, but your explanation helped me sort that out.

Well said Robert! I agree on the comparisons you made between the film about WWII and this pandemic. That time and the people were “the greatest generation!” Everyone came together on the common cause back then. Everyone sacrificed something and willingly did it!
My own father and his 2 brothers were all in WWII. Which means my grandmother (their mother) had all her children, all three sons in the war! Talk about sacrifice! My Dad was on a destroyer in the Pacific around Iwo Jima and saw the horrors of war! His youngest brother made the ultimate sacrifice and was blown up in a foxhole in Germany. He was only 19 yrs old! I can only imagine what my grandparents went through!
So to ask everyone one of us to wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands is little to ask of us! To have to skip that vacation this year to protect yourself and others is little to sacrifice! We have become such a self-centered nation, sometimes it’s beyond belief! Most people are so protected from this, they don’t even know what’s going on in their own city! The sacrificing all the doctors and nurses are making everyday! Other frontline workers too! They all have families of some sort!
Then the numbers of deaths we see everyday…..it is horrifyingly unreal! They are not just numbers…..they are souls, each with a story to tell! So I hope we can come together in this life and death fight and really realize that there is nothing we can’t do when we have that common purpose and put it into action!

Thank you for all the information Robert! I wish all our government leaders local, regional and national would all look at this in the same way and come together and do the same thing. We need unified leadership! Not bullying and putting down our scientists and doctors! We could have been in a different circumstance if we would have had that before. I’m sure all of us patients feel very lucky to have you as a “leader” during these scary and unknown times! We so need that now, so thank you!

Robert, Thank you for continuing to speak out about the importance of staying vigilant and responsible with our social behavior. I am heartened everyday by the number of people who are making a consistent effort to keep others safe in our neighborhoods and local businesses by wearing masks and practicing safe physical distancing from others. Unfortunately, the poor decisions of a few can quickly thwart the efforts of many when it comes to stopping the spread of this virus.
